Dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is used to fill in deep lines and softens the appearance of static wrinkles. HA is naturally found in the body, with the majority of HA stored in the skin. HA is responsible for adding hydration and youthful plumpness to the skin. As we age we lose HA dramatically, leading to hollowness and wrinkles in the skin. Using HA dermal fillers brings the youthful volume back to the face in a very natural way. Dermal fillers can also be used as a contour tool to enhance and highlight beautiful features of the face.
